RESEARCH
Annually NITMB call for research proposals from Northwestern & UChicago NITMB members. Awarded proposals receive funds to support graduate students &/or postdocs, plus $10,000 towards supplies and travel.

LEARNING & TRAINING
NITMB facilitates workshops featuring key concepts in biology for mathematicians and key concepts in mathematics for biologists. Workshops will be announced in our newsletter.
DEVELOPING COLLABS
NITMB encourages its members and affiliates to organize single day workshops on a topic. Organizers select speakers, set the agenda, invite key participants, and report back on outcomes. LEARN MORE

We welcome members and affiliates to seize on the leadership opportunities in NITMB. We welcome your input and talents on the Workshop Planning, Training & Mentoring, and Engagement & Community Committees, and the Early Career Researchers Council.

MEMBERSHIP
Official membership loops you into all the research and opportunities of NITMB and costs nothing. The NITMB is composed of tenure-line faculty from primarily two academic institutions: Northwestern University and the University of Chicago. Currently there are 86 faculty members of NITMB.
